Shedding Light on Southern Field Days

Steel & Tube showcased our wide range of products suitable for New Zealand's rural environment at last week’s Southern Field Days in Kirwee, a short 25mins drive from Christchurch. The event attracts between 20,000 and 25,000 visitors over the course of three days and are one of the oldest and largest agricultural events in the South Island.

The main aim of the South Island Agricultural Field Days (SIAFD) is to give farmers, the general public and others in the rural sector the opportunity to see the latest in agricultural machinery and services that are available on the market, particularly home grown products.

The Field Days is the only agricultural show in New Zealand to feature side-by-side demonstrations, with 80-100 tractors, headers, mowers, seed drills and other machines being put through their paces each day.

Along with supplying Hurricane wire product for the popular fencing competition, we also enjoyed sharing space with the fantastic Heartland Sheds team in their new 6 bay 8m deep x 25m long shed, that was built using products from Steel & Tube's extensive roofing and cladding range:

550 LM Steel & Tube Custom Orb - Grey Friars - 0.40mm

Flashing - Gull Grey - 0.55mm
